Pacific Beach is one of the most recognizable places in San Diego, there are many tourists, the famous Tourmaline surf spot, as well as a huge number of restaurants, cafes and bars, one of the most recognizable Duck Dive. A place where people are always crowded, people watch football, drink craft beer and eat delicious burgers. The objective of this project was to make bulletproof tables, as a lot of people pass through this place every day.
For this project, we happened to have a pallet of local Tasmanian Oak wood, which is basically eucalyptus, feels like stone and is very durable, it was perfect for a crowded place like Duck Dive. We made about 18 dining tables.

in general, it was something, every time we covered these tables with oil, they fascinated us with their beauty. By the way, we chose OSMO UV oils for this job, a great option for hardwood, very easy to maintain and protect the wood from UV rays.
